 Sore eyes are increasing concern nowadays. The eyes feel gritty, tender or tired when they are sore. You may also notice some irritation and redness. There are various reasons why you can get sore eyes. The reasons vary with your lifestyle. If you are a techie or if your work involves staring at the screen for hours, then you are most likely to get sore eyes.

Mix 2 tbsps. of milk and 1 tbsp. of honey in a bowl. Take two cotton pads and dip them in this solution. Then  place them on your eyes . Keep them on until you want. You will notice cooling and relief from fatigue of the eyes. This will reduce the soreness of the eyes.

You can also use milk and honey as an eye drop.

Rose water for sore eyes:

Rose water reduces inflammation . You can use cotton pads with rose water and keep them on your eyes . You can also use rose water as an eyedrop. Moreover, it reduces soreness of eyes.

The 20-20 rule:

Follow this rule to reduce strain on your eyes.

After every 20 minutes stare away from your computer screen and look at an object 20 feet apart for 20 seconds.

Doing this will reduce strain on your eyes and number of eyes will not increase. Hence, reduces the dryness of eyes due to staring at the screen .

Keep your eyes , spectacles and lenses clean :

Your eyes are the most delicate organ of the body . They are easily susceptible to germs and contract infections .

Palming:

  • Sit quietly with closed eyes.
