How to View Saved WiFi Passwords Without Root on Android 10 and Above

Step 1 - So if you also have set WiFi password on Android 10 or above phone and you forgot and want to watch now, then first of all you have to go to Settings.

Step 2 - Now after this you have to search for Network & internet and tap on WiFi.

Step 3 - You will see your current WiFi network at the top of the list. Select to see the network option. Here, you have to select the button of Share.

Step 4 - And then you need to confirm your Face/Fingerprint, or enter your PIN code which you have set to proceed further.

Step 5 - Once done, you will be able to see the Wi-Fi password of your network listed below a QR code.

How to View Saved WiFi Passwords with Root in Android 9 and Lower

If you're still running Android 9 or lower, we have a way for you to see your saved WiFi passwords too. However, this requires you to root your device because the file containing the Wi-Fi credentials for the saved network is in a protected directory on your phone's storage.

 And you are not allowed to view that folder or file unless you are root.

If you are rooted, you can go to /data/misc/wifi using a File Explorer app that supports root browsing. Open wpa_supplicant.conf and you will see your network name (ssid) and its password (psk).
